The aroma of gingerbread almost instantly creates a festive mood.

In our workshop, we venture into the traditional world of Christmas gingerbread, while participants can make and decorate their festive creations with their own hands.

During the sessions, participants learn the secrets of making well-formed, shape-holding gingerbread, as well as delicious, hazelnut-glazed gingerbread cookies. We will learn the proper rolling, cutting and baking of the dough, so that the gingerbread we create will not only be beautiful but also truly delicious. During decoration, participants try out various techniques: piped icing, needle-drawn, stencilled, so everyone can find the solution closest to their own style. They make and decorate Christmas figures, and also get to know the preparation of a special three-dimensional creation, the gingerbread fir tree.

The workshop is not only about recipes and techniques, but also evokes the old beloved tradition when preparation for the holiday was a family's shared creation, and the kitchen was filled with the aroma of freshly baked gingerbread.

Theoretical and practical leader of the workshop: Enikő Bujdosó, gingerbread instructor
