120-hour accredited training
Training accredited by the Public Culture Accreditation Committee: IV/3623-4/2023/KOZOSMUVFO
Aim and content of the training: Participants prepare to pass on the ability to create folk craft traditions of the Carpathian Basin—functional, still usable today, and of high aesthetic value.
Experiencing traditional peasant culture and national heritage not only fosters connection to one's homeland but also serves children's mental development. Artistic education, including the design and construction skills acquired through experiential learning, nurtures perseverance, understanding of creative processes, and their implementation. Added to this are the aesthetic, historical and ethnographic knowledge that young people acquire during the learning process. Participants in this training should develop the ability to pass on this knowledge.
Acquiring practical craft and ethnographic theoretical knowledge so that educators can expand and enrich their school and extracurricular activities. These insights can be consciously incorporated into the curriculum within the framework of nature's cycles, the celebrations and customs of the year.
Theoretical and practical instructors of the training: Outstanding artists in the field who are members of the Békés County Folk Art Association, as well as instructors invited from other associations
