FURNITURE PAINTING (intermediate)
This year, workshop participants will continue the work begun in the previous year. Experienced furniture painters will process materials collected during previous study trips, the pattern treasures of painted churches in South Transdanubia and the Upper Tisza region. Based on these, they will paint cassettes and design and paint motifs on smaller household objects.
Beginning and intermediate furniture painters progress according to the designated workshop theme, learning the rules of brushwork, colour mixing, surface treatment, and pattern design, as well as the painted motifs of the most important regions. They paint smaller objects using Slovak patterns from Békés county.
Workshop leader: Schneiderné Papp Edit, furniture painter

Sessions are planned to be held fortnightly on Fridays.
