őrkői női cigánytánc oktatás

In autumn, the Tititá Dance Workshop's monthly women's dance and rotation technique classes start again, specifically aimed at developing the technical skills of folk dance girls through movement coordination and body awareness exercises, rotation technique theoretical and practical knowledge, and folk yoga practice in a women's circle.

Our October session will be special, as this time we're not looking at a larger region, but gaining insight into the dance of a tiny Transylvanian village community.

This time we're learning the Gypsy dances of Őrkő near Sepsiszentgyörgy – an organic, dynamic and passionate dance form that awakens the feminine fire within us while freeing the joy of shared women's movement.

We warmly recommend this course to ALL girls from beginners to more experienced dancers, regardless of previous Tititá course participation or group membership (so beginners and "outsiders" are very welcome), since on this occasion we dance only among ourselves: during the 3-hour course we'll learn the women's basic steps and techniques of the Őrkő Gypsy dances (rományos, slow and fast Gypsy), so that by the end of the course, real improvised, liberated joy and community dance can emerge from what we've learned. We'll close the dance with folk yoga practice and stretching.
