The National Solo Dance Festival is being held for the 28th time, with this year's preliminary round hosted by Békéscsaba on November 28-29, 2026.!
For decades, the competition has provided a forum for folk dancers to demonstrate their knowledge of traditional folk dance, its creative re-interpretation, and their high-standard individual performance style.
Dancers judged best by the professional jury receive the Golden Pearl or Golden Spur dancer title.
Those who win it three times receive the Eternal Golden Pearl or Eternal Golden Spur title.
At the festival, competitors must perform two predetermined mandatory dances and one freely chosen dance.
Admission is free!
We warmly welcome all interested visitors!
