FOLKMŰHELY – FLUTE AND CITERA
The music workshops continue!
We warmly welcome those interested in folk music and instrumental playing to the next session of Folkműhely! Thanks to the support of the Csoóri Sándor grant, we are expanding our opportunities and continuing the communal music-making and musical studies begun at the summer folk arts camp.
At our monthly workshop sessions, the 6-hole shepherd's flute and citera take center stage. Alongside instrumental playing, participants can expect joint song learning, rhythm clapping, and development of musical knowledge. The sessions are conducted in differentiated groups on a rotating basis, so everyone can join in the collaborative work at their own level.
Date: 7 November 2026 (Saturday)
Session times:
- Intermediate: 9:00–11:00
- Advanced: 9:00–12:00
Workshop leaders: Máté Kőhidi (Keptár zenekar), Zsolt Kelemen and Zsolt Antal
Participation fee: 1 500 Ft/session
If you would like to continue the musical studies you began at the summer camp, develop your instrumental skills, or would happily join in communal music-making and singing, we welcome you warmly!
Feel free to let us know your intention to participate and any questions you may have!
See you at Folkműhely, and let's make music together!
