Discover the magic of Mezőség folk music and dance at the 2026 International Folk Music and Dance Camp!
The Kallós Zoltán Foundation will once again hold its traditional, now international Mezőség Folk Music and Dance Camp in Válaszút between August 9–16, 2026. Next year's camp is of particular significance as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Zoltán Kallós, Transylvanian Hungarian ethnographer, folk music collector, and founder of our foundation. In honour of this occasion, we will welcome participants with an even richer and festive programme.
If you want to immerse yourself in the authentic world of Mezőség dances, melodies and traditions, this is the place for you! The camp runs all week with live orchestral accompaniment, and the finest dance instructors and musicians will introduce you to the diversity of the Mezőség region.
