We warmly welcome participants from any country in the world who are interested in Kalotaszeg dances and folk songs and have reached the age of 16.

The camp venue this time is again Kalotaszentkirály village, whose residents and local government have been demonstrating their hospitality since 1991.

Returning campers can confirm that the dynamically developing village and the camp organizers strive year after year to improve conditions. Within the framework of rural hospitality, many applicants already have more comfortable accommodation than average. Five years ago, we were also able to accommodate interested participants in the new school residential hall, and at the same time dining conditions have also visibly improved.

Campers receive 6 hours daily of intermediate/advanced level folk dance or advanced instrumental folk music instruction. Folk song instruction takes place for 2 hours daily. The tradition of organizing folk song and youth dance competitions dates back to the camp's founding. The camp concludes every year with a gala performance in which invited resource persons and camp participants also perform.

Attention!
We cannot be held responsible for valuables left in tents. Campers will have the opportunity to store their valuables in a secure location.

Please note!
With the support of the local government, the camp organizers also provide professional support for the instruction of children's groups for local children and students. Children of parents registered for the camp who have reached the age of 5 may participate in the aforementioned children's group activities upon payment of a separate participation fee.

Anyone can add events to the Folk Calendar. We try to check the data daily, but we cannot take responsibility for its accuracy.
