In cooperation with the Erdélyi Hagyományok Háza Alapítvány, the Székelyszenterzsébeti Református Egyházközség, and the Hargita Megyei Hagyományőrzési Forrásközpont, the Kóré Géza Memorial Day, the gathering of Szeklerland Romani dance groups, is being held for the second time.
The primary aim of the event is to commemorate and pay tribute to Kóré Géza, the Romani fiddler from Székelyszenterzsébet who passed away in January 2025. He was known not only as a musician but also as an active community organiser and cultural promoter within the Roma community. Another important goal of the event is to provide a meeting platform for the Romani dance groups active in Szeklerland and to give them an opportunity to present themselves.
The event takes place at the Székelyszenterzsébet cultural house.
